A configurator for medical equipment, where a wrong choice has consequences

Durable medical equipment sold online — CPAP machines, masks, accessories and the service plans attached to them. The frontend problem is that the catalogue is a compatibility graph, not a list, and customers do not know which parts of it apply to them.

Breast pumps ordered through insurance rather than bought outright. The checkout does not take money — it takes eligibility information, which is a materially harder frontend problem and a far less forgiving audience.

A precision-wellness membership selling diagnostics and protocols. Regulated products need explicit consent before purchase — and consent collected on a page before checkout is consent the customer can navigate around.

Uploading a 1GB print file over a connection that will drop

Custom-printed banners, vinyl stickers and step-and-repeat backdrops. Every order carries customer artwork, and print-resolution artwork is enormous — which turns the humble file input into the hardest component on the site.

Singapore's consumer-facing online pharmacy, selling both over-the-counter and prescription products. Pharmacy retail has rules — quantity limits, product combinations, delivery eligibility — and rules enforced only in the browser are not enforced.

Smart eyewear with electronically adjustable tint. The catalogue is a matrix — every frame in every colourway — and the entire buying decision is visual, which puts the whole weight of the site on image delivery and hover choreography.

A travel agency site where each package renders a printable, downloadable itinerary generated entirely in the browser. No server, no PDF service — the print layout is a real route with its own stylesheet.
